New at Healing Arts

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a gentle body-energy therapy that facilitates balancing of the nervous system and settling into a connection with Health. From this healing space, clients are able to access resources to heal physical and energetic patterns that may be preventing them from fully engaging with life. BCST can be beneficial for people with conditions such as headaches, chronic pain and fatigue, fibromyalgia and PTSD, and for anyone wishing to optimize their health and well-being.

A typical session lasts about one hour, with time afterwards for sharing about the experience if the client wishes. The client remains fully clothed and lies comfortably on a massage table. The practitioner uses light touch to connect with the client’s craniosacral system and holds a gentle space. More information can be found at craniosacraltherapy.org.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is available for $100 for a 1 1/4 hour session.

Physical Therapy Consultations

A Physical Therapy Consultation consists of evaluation of the neuromusculoskeletal system for strength, flexibility, balance and posture. Suggestions are then offered regarding exercise, proper posture (such as for sitting at a computer) and safe movement for daily activities (such as lifting). This consultation can be for general health, or it can be targeted for a specific concern. Follow-up sessions are also available.

Physical Therapy Consultations are available for $100 for a 1 1/4 hour session.

These two new services are offered by new therapist Victoria DeVinney, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist.
