The National Senior Health & Fitness day, hosted by the Plymouth Council on Aging, was held at the Plymouth Cultural center on May 25th. Celeste Hamilton and Cheryl Morris from Healing Arts Center participated in this event, offering free mini massages to appreciative seniors on both the massage chair and the table. A relaxing and informative time was had by all! View News article and pictures.

Staff Update

As many of you noticed, our receptionist Mary Ann Petrie had been having some health challenges over the past few months. She is now feeling better, and is able to return to work at Healing Arts Center. Thank you all for your positive thoughts and concerns!

Massage Therapist Jennifer Skidmore suffered a severe automobile accident back in April. We have had many calls from concerned clients regarding her progress. The following is her personal message for all of you.

“Many of you know I was in a car accident April 9th. I had several injuries. The most severe were some internal injuries, a broken leg, and 2 fractured vertebrae. Thanks to everyone for your keeping me in your thoughts. I'm doing really well in my recovery. I'm very fortunate that the injuries I sustained were all fixable and did not take long to heal from. I plan on returning to work sometime in the beginning of July. I'm really looking forward to it! Can't wait to get back to normal. I feel so fortunate that this road to recovery has been quick and that my dear sweet husband was able to return from Kuwait and stay home to take care of us. We are truly blessed. Hope everyone is enjoying the summer! Looking forward to returning to the center to see everyone!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Skidmore

While Jennifer is recovering, there is no need to go without your massage! May we suggest one of our other well-qualified therapists to help keep you relaxed and feeling well while Jennifer is rehabilitating.
